MIC’s Music City Takeover was a success! 🎶
Over the course of three days last week, we took 25 of our members to Nashville to tour different companies and meet with a variety of music business professionals. We would like to thank United Talent Agency, MakeWake Artists, Josiah Corbin, Anay Richardson, and Yusef Yoba for their part in making this experience so informative and inspiring.
Thank you to all of our members who participated in the trip with us, it was bigger and better than any of us could have imagined in the beginning, and it is all thanks to you. We are so excited to see how you will apply what you've learned to your studies and future career. ❤️
More content coming soon!

Thank you to everyone who came to our meeting last night, and to Nikki who shared her experiences as a Nashville-based artist manager for some amazing talent! She gave us advice about getting a start in the industry, how to maintain a work-life balance, avoiding burn-out, and more. Be sure to reach out to her if you're interested in the show promotion opportunity she mentioned!
Our next meeting will be on Monday, April 14th, where we will hold our e-board inauguration and end of year celebration. We look forward to seeing you there!
