Thank you to everyone who came to our meeting last night, and to Nikki who shared her experiences as a Nashville-based artist manager for some amazing talent! She gave us advice about getting a start in the industry, how to maintain a work-life balance, avoiding burn-out, and more. Be sure to reach out to her if you're interested in the show promotion opportunity she mentioned!
Our next meeting will be on Monday, April 14th, where we will hold our e-board inauguration and end of year celebration. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us this upcoming Monday, March 31, to hear from special guest, Nikki Boon!
Nikki Boon is a Michigan-born, multi-faceted music industry professional with experience in artist development, touring, and artist management. Notably, she is an Artist Manager at Neon Coast, a progressive music and entertainment company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Amongst Nikki’s artist roster is multi-award winning and genre-crossing Kane Brown who has amassed 17 billion streams, 12 Billboard No. 1’s on the Billboard Country Airplay Charts, 55+ RIAA certifications, as well as Diamond-status for his single, “Heaven”.
In 2021, Boon also signed alt-pop band Nightly after watching from afar as a fan. The band has been featured on stages such as Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, Super Bowl Music Fest, among others – and are one of only seven U.S. artists on WeVerse, the global fandom platform based in South Korea.
We will also be holding our 2025-26 Executive Board elections after we talk with Nikki! Be sure to stick around for the whole meeting to vote for your next MIC E-Board.
We will be meeting in Timashev N308 at 7pm. Hope to see you there!
